DNN Module Updated - Monday, February 25, 2008

The DNN Module has been updated to 01.00.16 added in the latest version is the capability to include the querystring when the data is sent to WhosOn.

The "Parse Adwords / Source" option finds only QueryString options source= or gclid= and sends these to WhosOn.

"Pass QueryString" sends the full QueryString to WhosOn.

The latest build can be retrieved through the Files section of the site.

Also, this version deals correctly with the situation where there is no Page Title, and substitutes the page name.   Some minor encoding problems are also eliminated.

Installation

The WhosOn DNN Module is a module that links to the WhosOn Live Chat & Website Monitoring Application.

First, you need to have WhosOn installed on a local Windows Server (using the same server will give the best performance).

To download WhosOn installable, go to www.whoson.com/installabletrial.aspx

Follow the setup wizard for WhosOn; www.whoson.com/help/QuickStart.htm gives the quick start guide for setting up the site.

The DNN Module is located in C:\Program Files\WhosOnV4\Developer\ServerSideTracking\DNN\WhosOnDNNModule.zip

This can be added through the normal modules functions of the Host account.
